On March 2,1960 Fire Fighter Nelson Walker was killed when this Engine he was driving enroute to an alarm failed to negotiate a corner and over turned. The Engine was sent back to the factory in Elmira N.Y. and was rebuilt. The bottom 2 pictures are the Engine at the American LaFrance plant in Elmira New York, when the Engine was sent back to be rebuilt.

Membership donated this engine to Roark Fire Co. in Roark, Kentucky in December 1989.
